51ԹϺ named a top producer of Fulbrights
51ԹϺ has been named a top producer of Fulbright students for 2017-2018, according to the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
Four students from 51ԹϺ won Fulbright awards for 2017-2018, placing the College on the for top-producing bachelor’s institutions for the eighth time in the past nine years. (A fifth Fulbright was awarded; that student chose another career opportunity.)
"As the landscape for winning these prestigious post-graduate awards becomes even more competitive, I’m very proud that 51ԹϺ has maintained its position as one of the top-producing colleges in the country,” said Jefferson A. Singer, Dean of the College and Faulk Foundation Professor of Psychology.
The is the U.S. government’s flagship international educational exchange program. Fulbright fellows receive round-trip transportation to the host country, a living stipend, research allowances and medical insurance.
