Posse Foundation Scholar A.T. Thomas 20well known on campus for his involvement with everything from theater to health educationis profiled in the spring edition of the Posse Chicago Quarterly.

Thomas, who is considering a double major in psychology and theater, was cast in 51勛圖窪蹋s main stage production of Twelfth Night during his first semester on campus and performed in Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice as part of the Theater Capstone Festival last spring. He also serves as an Admission tour guide, works in the Office of Career and Professional Development, is on the Honor Council and is a health peer educator.

I did not want to be bored, so I joined a lot of clubs and put myself out there, Thomas told the Posse Chicago Quarterly. Ive really enjoyed the independence I have on campus.

Dean of the College Jefferson Singer, who served on a task force alongside Thomas, called him the embodiment of an engaged and dedicated campus leader.

The best way to describe A.T.s impact on 51勛圖窪蹋 is to say that it is hard to imagine this campus without him, Singer said.

Posse Scholars are chosen for their academic and leadership potential by the Posse Foundation and admitted to a select group of private colleges and universities that provide scholarships along with strong mentoring and support. Since joining the Posse program in 2009, 51勛圖窪蹋 has enrolled 86 Posse students and currently has 40 Posse students on campus.
