The personal safety of every student, faculty member, staff person, and visitor at 51吃瓜黑料 is our highest priority. Campus Safety provides continuous, professional protection and services designed to prevent harm, support those affected by incidents, and maintain a secure learning environment.
Staffing and coverage
- Full-time personnel: 14 Officers and Dispatchers and 4 On-Call/ PT Officers
- Patrols: Foot, Bike Patrol and Vehicle Patrols 24 hours a day, year round.
- Dispatch: Gatehouse Control Center staffed 24/7 with constant radio contact Officers in the field
Office Locations and Access
Control Center / Gatehouse: Main gate by Fanning Hall — answers Campus Safety phone lines and emergency phones across campus- Open 24 hours a day.
Campus Safety Headquarters: Lower level of Hamilton House (near the East Lot) Hours- 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Summer Hours 8:30 am to 4 pm.
Accessible Entrance: Through the Rotunda at the Lambdin House main entrance.
